Custom Golf Club Fitting Days in Utah: Elevate Your Game with Scott Golf! ⛳️

What Are Scott Golf Fitting Days?

Scott Golf Fitting Days are exclusive, in-person events where Utah golfers can experience a professional custom club fitting with master club builder Scott Petersen. Whether you’re a low-handicap player chasing precision or a mid-handicapper looking for more consistency, a proper fitting eliminates guesswork and matches your equipment to your unique swing.

Unlike generic big-box fittings, every Scott Golf fitting session is conducted one-on-one. Using launch monitor data, impact analysis, and decades of hands-on club building expertise, Scott evaluates your swing characteristics and recommends the ideal combination of head design, shaft profile, loft, lie, and grip to optimize your ball flight and feel.

Each fitting day is held at select Utah locations, giving local golfers convenient access to world-class custom fitting without traveling out of state. Spots are limited to ensure every golfer receives focused, unhurried attention.

Why Get a Custom Golf Club Fitting in Utah?

Most golfers play with off-the-rack clubs built to average specs. A custom fitting addresses the specific variables that affect your performance: swing speed, attack angle, tempo, and physical build. Here’s what a professional fitting at a Scott Golf event delivers:

  • Optimized Launch ConditionsDial in launch angle, spin rate, and carry distance using real-time data from a professional launch monitor.

  • Proper Lie Angle & Loft GappingEliminate directional misses caused by incorrect lie angles and close distance gaps between clubs.

  • Shaft SelectionFind the right shaft weight, flex, and profile for your swing tempo and transition. Scott Golf partners with Nippon Shaft for premium steel shaft fitting.

  • Weight-Matched PrecisionEvery Scott Golf set is weight-matched so each club feels consistent from long irons through wedges.

  • Hand-Built QualityClubs ordered through fitting days are individually assembled and inspected by Scott Petersen himself — no assembly lines, no shortcuts.

What to Expect at a Fitting Day

Each fitting follows a structured, four-stage process designed to leave nothing to chance:

  1. Consultation & AssessmentScott discusses your game, goals, and any current equipment issues. He evaluates your grip, stance, and overall setup.

  2. Launch Monitor FittingHit shots with demo clubs while launch monitor data captures ball speed, spin, launch angle, and dispersion. This data drives every recommendation.

  3. Specification & SelectionBased on fitting data, Scott finalizes your club specs: head model, shaft, grip size, length, loft, and lie. You’ll see exactly what’s being recommended and why.

  4. Order & BuildPlace your order on-site. Each club is then hand-built at the Scott Golf shop in Payson, Utah, weight-matched, and inspected before shipping.
